ARAKS

The brandy is called after Armenian "Mother River" Araks, which heads from historical Armenia’s Byurakn highland rills and flowing 1072 km of length links with Kur river. Not only Armenians were inspired by Araks, but also foreign writers and historians. A remarkable Roman poet Virgil (1st century BC) represented Araks as Armenia’s and Armenians’ strength, freedom and recalcitrant symbol.
